Ganesamoni hospital has been serving lakhs of families in South India since 1983. Ganesamoni multi-specialty hospital was founded by Dr. S. Ganesamoni MS, FAIS. Since its founding we become an integral part of the city, advancing our mission of providing access to compassionate, quality and affordable healthcare to people. Today patients find care that combines world-class medicine with compassion.
The hospital was started with General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine services. Over the years, in line with the advances in medical field, the hospital has provided super-specialty services including Urology, Fertility, Surgical Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Surgical & Medical Gastroenterology, Thoracic surgery and Vascular Surgery.
Foundation day
Ganesamoni Hospital has served South India since 1983. It started functioning on 20th October 1983. It was expanded to a 50-bedded hospital in 1985. New outpatient department block was opened in 1991. In 1995, new operation theatre complex with modern facilities were established. In the last decade, modern Clinical laboratory, Microbiology and Radiology departments were commissioned. The hospital was renovated and facilities like Central Oxygen Supply and Central Suction were added.
Foundation Day has been held to commemorate and show appreciation to the men and women, past and present of Ganesamoni Hospital. Foundation Day is celebrated as a part of Hospital Week.
