About Dr. Soundarya Raguram

Empathy and compassion are two things which set a doctor apart. Dr.Soundarya Raguram is one such doctor who is loved by her patients, colleagues and staff alike. Born as the daughter of a well renowned Gynecologist, she was passionate about Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine from a very young age itself. She was very clear in her career choice which enabled her to become a specialist in OBG and Reproductive Medicine.

Awards and Achievements

She graduated from The University of Kerala in 2010 as a rank holder and she also won the ICMR STS (Indian Council of Medical Research Student Scholarship).

She did her Residency in OBG in 2014 from Lifeline Superspeciality hospital, which is one of Kerala’s well renowned centre for High Risk Pregnancy Care, Laparoscopy and Reproductive Medicine. During her residency, she also won the Dr. Jagdeeshwari Mishra award for best presentation at the All India Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in 2016, at Agra. Later she underwent training in Reproductive Medicine from Millan Hospitals, Bangalore.

Current Focus

It was her dream to bring Fertility treatments within the reach of people from all socioeconomic background. She now specializes in Low-Cost IVF treatments at Ganesamoni Fertility Center in Ganesamoni Hospital, with promising results. She treats her pregnant patients with affection, giving all the support and one to one care during their child birth.
